Well all four are entering into new stages in their lives. Some are taking those stages head on with not many worries, while others are taking change very hard. My oldest ds is having what I have come to understand as placement issues. He is a 13 year old youngman who is in the body of a 16 year old. His body has always matured faster while his mental maturity has always been correct for his actual age. However he is now battling with how he feels about all this. At times he can be extremly mature while other times it seems he wants to regress. But we have decided that with plenty of conversation and more encouragement he will come to accept that while he looks much older he does not have to feel obligated to act or forced to mature to quickly, and instead enjoy his youth and grow with time. My second oldest ds is actually just fine with change and has a very good thought process about it not meaning he has to "grow up" to soon. He however does not have the looking older atribute my oldest has, therefore can embrace it much simpler. Then there is my third and oldest dd who completely sees puberity as pure evil and wants no part of it. However as we all know we can't always choose that. Unfortunetely growing and physical change are just A part of life. So instead of going down the "suck it up Sally " road like I was directed to do. I have decided to help her embrace and cherish this time of coming into ones own by co-journaling the experience with her and encouraging her to see it as a wonderful experience. So we have contacted an artist who does beautiful feminie looking art, which my daughter loved because she's a girlie girl, and to make this experience more special for the both of us , she will be painting something special for us to share. So we are excited! My youngest is still in her I'm the baby so their mode and from what she says has no interest in leaving that place anytime soon. So she is what you would describe as content. Lol! So I will try to post up how our adventure through growing pains goes as new things arrive. Til then blessings and shalom to you all.

Artistic Flow week

That's right this seems to be my childrens week of just random artistic expression. I look forward to being able to complete the painting so I can finally finish the decorating process. I'm also looking forward to putting new desk areas in the front room on the first floor so that it can be our designated office/school/art/and reading area. Yeah, that's how we do things here in this five bedroom ,three level house, lol. I am also interested in getting another kitchen table. We've had our table for years and it's time to see it go. I've got these very pretty plates I want to hang up that my mom gave me. I also have some baskets I want to use and a new shelf my mom gave us for the microwave. So I'm looking forward to seeing everything in it place and done so that I can move on with other household projects. Hope everyone is have a great week. The summer bares down to it's end. The kids form into the new curriculum or non-curriculum. Lol! And the fall activities begin to take way. This year will be a full year. We have four children which whom are causing mom to age, lol! And in turn growing as well. Therefore there are more schedule settings as well as organization attempts occurring in our home as well. This year we have karate, ballet & tap, guitar and piano lessons going on. We also have some plans for volunteering for the humane league going on in the coming months. We have three field trips planned in the coming months. So yes we are very busy. I am a huge fan of planners and all things organizational. However my kids do not understand moms need for these things in her life. Although I will freely admit that Im as disorganized as the next person at times even with all these wonderful tools I have available daily. Nonetheless I still have an organizational goal in my life even with embracing the kaos. So kudos to those enduring the wonderful school year ahead. I dont know about you but I love knowing my kids are filling their days with the things they most want to do. It's fantastic. So enjoy your fall as well as the other seasons to come and what they may bring. On the top is a pic of my dd's tap class. She has been taking different forms of dance for the last 5 years and loves it. 

Studies

We will be studying Vikings this wonderful HS year. I am looking forward to checking referances and printing out informative sheets. I really want to make this a family study. We are also looking forward to studying Taino , Aztec and Myan civilizations this year as group. I'm seeing the Taino study taking at least a month to get through because it is part of our roots. And most likely a longer personal study for myself. So yes excitement reeks in my atmosphere right now! Here's hoping your year is a stress free , energized, adventure seeking, quality, fulfilling, original thinking, fact studying ,open minded, expressive, graceful , and embrassing Homeschool year. May we learn something new with each walk and keep our hearts and minds open to all that Abba has prepared for us to walk into. I truly pray for this Abba cause NO one can deliver like you. Now on to what we are going to look forward to this year. My ds is taking up Judo, while my other ds is taking guitar lessons. My dd is taking ballet and tap while my youngest is taking piano. Can you just hear the beautiful flow of music preparing to arise in my home. I can truly hardly wait to hear them practice. It is truly a blessing. As it is a blessing to see my ds begin Judo as he has wanted to for some time now and to see my destined dancer contiue to learn what she loves. Just blessed! I am very apologetic for not keeping up with my blog. I have been in need of finding a way to be on the go and still blog between daily life without having it necessary to be in front of my computer. And yes I have found an application that allows exactly that. So it is my mission to attempt to keep this blog going strong. I must say I have been journaling again and it has been about 3 years since I've been consistent with it and as a boost to continue to do that ,which I must say I love to do, I now have my children journaling more then project, and nature journals. So pray the father peeks their interest. Well blessings and goodnight.

Summer Fun!

Here are my kids, playing in the little pool outside in the yard.We have had bubble contest and BBQ's out there for the last 2 months. As you can see my Godson was sporting a mohawk this summer. Unfortunetely it got chopped off 3 weeks after this picture. He will be celebrating his 3rd birthday in 2weeks and we are looking forward to it.We are throwing him a Thomas the Train party. He absolutely loves Thomas.Be sure to look for those pics soon. It is a wonderful thing celebrating his birthday because he was premature by 3 months and only weighed 1lb and change when he was born.So we are extremely proud of how well he has done, going from the size of my husbands hand to this lil man who is full of laughter and just a happy rugged boy who loves water fights as you can see. We have just been enjoying the weather and having tons of water fights. I am off to cook a briskett. As some of you know I am Messianic and my husband is christian. So our kids get the best of both worlds. We did our chanukah prayers,as well as were able to have a huge get together with my cousins and friends. Since we are still staying in the loft ,we had tons of space to have everyone come to the house and just be together. I had my godkids come over and spend the night as well as had a nice sized birthday celebration for my husband. We had a wonderful time. We didn't get a tree this year, which is great for me since I really don't enjoy the clean up ,and the kids could of cared less which was great. They were just exstactic to get gifts as most kids are. My kids enjoyed it all. We had a grand X-mas dinner with family and my husbands best friend. It was great. I hope everyone was able to enjoy their holidays as much as we did. I have so many pics I would love to share, but still have a messed up computer. I should of asked for one over the holidays huh!LoL! Well we are looking forward to tomorrow night. A new year and getting to make new changes. We are looking forward to starting our horizon workbooks starting next week. We also picked up some fabulous magic tree house books. We are getting ready for our Feb co-op meetings and also starting on some of our new history booklets. We also have some science projects we are working on. One is to grow an herb garden and another is to grow some corn in a flower pot. We have also made some homemade finger paints and clay again. It will be great I am excited already. We are working on getting a breakfast menu going for my older kids to begin learning how to use the oven by themselves. I am looking forward to that indepenance teaching. My second oldest loves the thought of touching food and making something out of it that taste good. Cooking is a huge part of our family. We love to cook. I strive to have the home setting my grandma has had in her home since I was little. Well talk to you next year, lol! Sounds soooo long! Blessings and happy new year to you all.

Our Latest

Well we are making another move or should I say we've made another move. We are back in PA. Yes! I said back in PA. I am loving the new place ! Once again the move was work related. My husband was given a job opportunity that was just irresistable and we could not turn down. It is great being down here again. It has only been a little less then a year in NY,but we made some extrodinary HS friends down their. Which we will be keeping in touch with Lord willing for a long time. We are near the same area we were in before we moved. And yet we went for a walk to get reaquainted and it seemed like we haven't been here in such a long time and had moved somewhere new. But we are here for a good long time. Can't say forever cause things just seem to come up outta the blue and then we're off again. Lol! But this has taught my kids such wonderful life lessons and also introduced them to such wonderful opportunities that only a HS lifestyle could give us. It is wonderful to see the things the Father puts in your path and brings you through. Just wonderful! We are just settling in ,after arriving last week. So far we have grocery done and some serious organization going on. I never just how many books we had until we started emptying out our storage. And just how much we use them all. I know all you HS moms know what I am talking about. But oh,how I love my HS books. My kids are looking forward to starting cooking lessons, which I will be giving them this week coming. First thing on the menu ,lemon poppy seed bread , a breakfast muffin I love ,which has eggs, turkey sausage and cheese. It melts in your mouth. Then on to a triple chcolate quick loaf and some cheese mash potatoes and steak. Yes ,I trying to teach them full meals that I won't have to worry about them ever going hungry cause moms not home. And yes my boys will know how to prepare dishes so that they can every once in awhile say hunny I'll make dinner tonight. Well, that's all for now I hope to share some pictures with you all soon of our cooking lessons.
